Product description
- For hand and machine washing
- Ideal for (rain) coats
HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool and mixed textiles has been specially developed to make cotton, linen, wool and mixed textiles (textiles made of partly natural materials such as cotton and partly synthetic materials such as polyamide or polyester) water- and dirt-repellent. This product is therefore ideal for making (rain) coats, children's clothing, jeans, furniture covers, garden furniture covers and tablecloths water- and dirt-repellent. Moreover, this highly concentrated product is very easy to use. The content of this bottle is sufficient for up to 3 kg of textiles. For best results, preferably use the hand-washing method. For applications on parasols, awnings, groundsheets or textiles made of 100% synthetic fibres, we recommend HG water, oil, grease and dirt repellent for textiles.
Instructions for use
- Hand wash method
- The garment to be treated should be clean and dry
- Fill a bucket, tub or basin with approximately 6 litres of lukewarm water
- Mix the entire contents of this bottle with the water
- Then add the garment to this solution and turn it over regularly for 15 minutes
- Then rinse with cold water
- The effect of this product is enhanced by heat, therefore preferably iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer. Check the washing instructions of the textile whether this is allowed, otherwise dry on a clothes-line
- Washing machine
- The clothes to be treated should be clean and dry
- The soap dish of the washing machine should be completely free of detergent residues, so clean it first if necessary. Detergent breaks down the effect of HG waterproof cotton, linen, wool and mixed textiles
- Select the garment programme (without pre-wash) or, if the washing instructions recommend it, the delicate or wool programme (without pre-wash).
- Do not add detergent or fabric softener
- The temperature depends on the fabric care instructions, but should not exceed 40ºC
- Start the washing machine and after about 15 sec
- Add the entire contents of this bottle to the running water via the soap dish
- If these 15 seconds are not waited and the product is added too early, it may end up directly in the washing machine drain because a washing machine first drains water the first few seconds of a new programme
- Do not use the product in a washing ball
- Finish the wash programme completely
- The effect of this product is enhanced by heat, therefore preferably iron the textile before it is completely dry or dry it in a tumble dryer. Consult the washing instructions of the textile whether this is permitted, otherwise dry on a clothes line
